                                                                          A Treasurable Bond

    A friend who sticks closer than a brother

    is worth the world to keep.

    A diamond in the rough,

    in all truth.

    Through all phases of life,

    it is lovely to have

    someone with whom,

    there is never any strife.

    Who is always willing to lend

    an ear, or a helping hand.

    I say a person,

    as to have more than two,

    is a blessing beyond measure.

    As we know who will stick around,

    for many years to come.

    Surely, we can all attest,

    that those rough patches

    in the past were well worth,

    the discovery of a treasurable bond.
